The first serial high speed patrol boat of project 03160 “Raptor” of Manufacturing programme of 2014 built under the Contract with Russian Navy launched for passing its yard sea trials

Before the end of this year it is planned to deliver 4 boats of this project to the State Customer – RF Navy.
The boat is intended to perform the following operations at day-time and at night:

  • the transportation of group of at least 20 persons providing the highest possible embarkation and debarkation;
  • duties in assigned areas;
  • intercept and arrest of small targets;
  • rescue of people in areas of duty.

Navigation area – coastal areas, straits, estuaries standing off a place of shelter within 100 miles.

JSC "Pella" has signed a contract with the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation for building and delivery of 8 patrol boats based on project 03160 ("Raptor").

In accordance with the contract, 4 boats will be built and delivered to the State Reservation in 2014 and 4 boats will be built and delivered in 2015.

The tugboat «RB-413» of the project 90600 building No 941 of the Acceptance Program of 2014 has been launched

The solemn ceremony was participated by Chief of naval crew training department of supply vessels of Navy Dandamayev A.G., representative of the Main HQ of the Russian Federation Navy Tararukhin D.S., authority of the shipyard “Pella”.

The vessel was sanctified by Churchman Andrey of the Church of Alexander Nevsky.

In 2014 the tugboat will be delivered to the Russian Navy and put into operation within the Baltic Fleet of the Russian Federation.

The tugboat is intended for towing and berthing operations in harbor, roadsteads and coastal areas which comply with R3 navigation area, refloating of ships and vessels, fire fighting operations at floating and shore objects, oil and petroleum content products, cargo transportation, ice breaking and erosion operations.

The launch of the head fishing vessel of project PL-475 has carried out.

This is the first built in Russia high-tech modern fishing vessel of longline catching. The launch of this vessel is an important stage of the development of the shipyard Pella and really high-profile event for fishing industry as a whole.

The vessel is intended for all-year operation in Barents Sea. After completion the longliner will be delivered to experimental year-round operation at scientific - fishing procedure to confirm the high fishing opportunities and to execute the program with the participation of scientists working to identify underutilized biological resources of the Barents Sea. This will enable to continue construction of a series of the same resource-saving and effective fishing vessels at a new production site.
