The sea part of official trial of tugboat “MB-92” yard no. 503 project no. PE-65 has been successfully сompleted.

The sea part of official trial of tugboat “MB-92” yard no. 503 project no. PE-65 has been successfully сompleted. Nowadays the revision of the vessel is being conducted and preparation works to delivery of the tugboat to the customer – Russian Navy are being fulfilled.

Assignment:

  • towing of vessels and floating objects in harbor areas and open seas
  • performing of escort operations at the speed of 10 knots
  • fire fighting operations at floating and shore objects;
  • oil and petroleum content products spill removal;
  • rescue and salvage operations;
  • ice–breaking of up to 0.8 m ice at the speed of up to 5 knots.

    The yard sea trials of the head high speed patrol boat of project 03160 “Raptor” were conducted by Shipyard “Pella”.

    The boat were designed and built by the order of RF Navy.
    As the result the following characteristics were performed:



    Speed 23 т
    Crew 2 persons
    Special staff 20 persons
    Length 16,7 m
    Width 4,0 m
    Draft 0,85 m
    Total power 1690 kW

    The State Commission has signed the acceptance statements for the tugboats “RB-404” (building No 623, pr. 16609) and “RB-405” (building No No 624, pr. 16609)

    Before the end of the year the vessels will be delivered to the Basing port – p.Vladivostok, where they will be put into operation within the Pacific Fleet of Russian Navy.

    The tugboat is intended for towing and berthing operations in harbor and coastal areas which comply with R2 navigation area (not more than 100 miles from place of shelter), performing of escort operations at the speed of 10 knots, refloating of ships and vessels, fire fighting operations at floating and shore objects, oil and petroleum content products, cargo transportation, ice breaking and rescue and special purpose operations as well.

    The sea trail part of the delivery acceptance tests of the tugboats “RB-405” (building No 624, pr. 16609) has completed

    This autumn the vessel will be delivered to port Vladivostok to the State Customer – RF Navy.
